After a gap year spent teaching English in Tibet, advocating in Washington, D.C., and farming in Iceland, Ethan attended Harvard, where he secured his first angel investment, led one of the fastest-growing student organizations, and trained his first AI model. His path to entrepreneurship took unexpected turns—from landscaping at a North Carolina summer camp while studying computer science at night to a pivotal stint in New York, where he recognized a major gap in sales coaching. That insight led him to San Francisco, where he launched his first company focused on conversation analysis, raising $15M from Accel, Bain, Founders Fund, and others. Beyond tech, Ethan is deeply invested in Transformational NLP, working toward his practitioner certification to deepen his leadership and personal growth. His creative side thrives through art and performance, most recently writing and starring in a musical featuring a snarky television, ballet-dancing bears, and God—staying true to his eclectic nature.
